I was leaning towards Khan here for a wide UD victory but am starting to change my tune. I watched Maidana-Ortiz and Maidana-Cayo again last night and I just can't see how Khan will be able to escape Maidana's pressure for 12 rounds. If he goes for the KO, he will have to eat a bunch of bombs and I don't think he will be able to. Maidana KO - 70% Khan Wide UD - 30% (Maidana has an off night) Khan has 5x the skills but guys with chins like that won't beat Maidana.
I agree, but then again, Khan and Roach were ringside at the Ortiz Vs Maidana fight. Roach wouldn't take something he doesn't think his fighter would win. And if Khan wins, it means Maidana had an off night? :huh:huh:huh Come on man, if Khan wins it's because he's superior to Maidana in every way.
The only way you cant beat the other is if Khan actually knocks him the **** out! It would have been so much better if someone on the internet had pics of Ortiz dropping him:conf
Didn't mean it like that; just the way I see it unfolding. If Khan comes out and eats some punches and still dominates, credit will be due. I just don't see it happening.
So if Khan doesn't get tagged and still wins, will you give him credit? You can't expect a guy with a shaky chin to take shots from a knockout artist and come out safe. It just doesn't happen. I hope he doesn't get hit with any shots. A win will do enough.
