I saw his name mentioned on Khan's fan site as a possible first US opponent.

    Makes sense.

Maidana would spark Khan within 2...way too big of a risk.

I have a feeling he'll end up fighting Malinaggi at the Garden

Katsidis wont fight Khan when Katsidis is almost guarenteed to be lightweight champ (he holds the interim title, and when Marquez vacates he becomes full champ).

Khan will probably fight Malignaggi, even that is a 50-50 fight for me.

I wouldn't be suprised if he fights Cuenca:

Does anyone really give him credit for fighting Salita?

He barely deserves much credit for picking Kotelnik.

Hopefully Madina, although I think it will be a easier fight.

Madina would be nice, might be Paulie Magg though, that would still be worth watching, he needs to step it up to get respect, even if he loses and has a great fight/war people will respect him, eone is so worried about losing all the time!!

Yeah but salita was a mandatory defence wasnt it, no doubt khan hasnt got the best chin but roach should have sorted his defence out big time so should be much harder 2 catch him now, a mean seriously if prescott would of hit pbf, pac man any of them if he had caught them with them shots thing is he never would or even get close 2 doing so, so if khan tightens up the defence i think offence is v. Good although he is untested against any one really, as every one knows barrera well past it at time of that fight which is why it was made. But i think we will have 2 watch this space with khan see if he's got the class against true top class fighters in their prime, personally i think he has all the tools in the offence 2 dominate the l.welterweight division at some point as long as the defence is sorted hes still only 23/24 and a world champion and can go a long way and it will always be exciting because you know he can bang and is always going 2 be seen as someone who can get banged

I think he should go for Bradley this would make a big statement , and i dont think bradely is all that , 5 6 shorts arms , pretty good workrate , but doesnt hit hard and doesnt move his head , Amir would look very good.

Khan would beat Malignaggi easily. He's the perfect opponent at this stage, well-known, coming off the back of a career best win, not a big puncher, and everything Paulie does well, Amir does better.

Mayweather might come calling, and since he already has a loss on his record the kind of Payday and exposure a Mayweather-Khan fight could do a ton of good for him.

Yeah, if Khan put in a good losing performance against FMJ, his stock would still rise.

Malignaggi is a good safe bet for Khan. Also, Malignaggi is American, so the American boxing audience will be watching this fight and giving Khan better exposure.
