Amir "King" Khan

Learn about the sport of boxing, he was obviously running the majority of the fight because Maidana's punches hurt, have you ever been hit before in your life tough guy? Boring post, obviously a troll thread.

 

If Khan went to the body more he could of made it a lot easier for himself.

 

I dont give a **** my self I was reply to the ****. Cotto did what he had to do to survive and I respect that.

 

Early on I was just mesmerized by Khan. He was just so damn fast and that body punch. He's a real talent. He's the real deal. The heart and guts in that 10th round. And he had to gall to raise his hands in that 10th round. Can't take anything away from him. Maidana is just a bull... unbelievable mental fortitude.

He impressed in a lot of ways. People are knocking Khan's defense which isn't perfect, but hell.. Maidan was relentless. He was bound to land with his temperament and isn't being given the proper credit.

It's slightly irritating that Khan seems to try being so much like Pac though. Not a bad thing to emulate though.

 

Works both ways, if he put on a clinical show and never really got hit, ppl here would still question his heart and chin.

I think tonight v the biggest 140 hitter he answered those questions. Under Roach his boxing ability and intelligence will undoubtedly improve. A great fight.

 

And the body shots Khan took... that impressed me too (I know his chin is weak. But Maidana can still punch and that didn't zap him as much as it should've).

Maidana is the beast. The styles puts him in a disadvantage in this fight. I even saw a little mental breakdown with him being frustrated with Khan and refereeing.

 

Props to you LukeO....i remember you were not a big fan of Khan before...but i guess he's made a fan of you and plenty of others around the world!
