Yep Chad is going to UD mr Tarver,Adrian is going to destry Branco but don't think the WBC will let the fight immediately go on
True about the late round thing but don't judge just by the Henry fight,he had a lot of problems going into that
I agree, and we'll probably end up with Diaconu vs. Johnson... which wouldn't be all that bad, but I'm with you on CD vs. Diaconu, it's a fight to watch! Stylistically, it's the most intriguing matchup in the division without a doubt.
Most people are full of **** when they say they prefer top fights over an undefeated record. If that's true, then why do so many dwell over losses on this forum? Look a t Paul Williams. The guy lost 1 fight to a top 10 fighter and then later avenged that loss. However, all people want to do is dwell on that loss, and use it as an excuse to demean him. Oscar gets a lot of **** for losing to ATGs. People still give Floyd **** for a close win, even though he rematched the guy and won without controversey. Wheter people want to admit it or not, they are just as obsessed with perfection as these fighters.
Yeah the WBC says they will input 2 fights on Diaconu cuz he won the title by default, one is Branco, the other is Glen.So Johnson vs Diaconu in 09 altough a lot could happen to cancel the fight
I think that sort of thought is born of fighters not really competing with the top guys they can and having their opponents picked for them. If top fights were the norm then there would be less talk of being exposed. It comes down to the number of alphabet titles also, fewer bouts = bigger fights if you want to be champ
They will fight, hey BTW I have a couple of Emma pictures but I need to decide which ones I like. :good
Exactly, the abc titles ****ed up thesport,in the old days everybody fought everybody, the old time fighters were the **** even with 10 losses,20,hell Tommy Loughran had 30 losses
Fighters have always had the ability to pick their opponents. The top fights only occur when it is financially viable. Why is this? Because fighters don't want to comprimise their earning power by taking on a tough opponent that is not a big draw. This is so because the public is not very forgiving of a loss. If you lose to a popular fighter, that's fine. However, if you lose to a good fighter(even a top guy in the division) who isn't very well known, your career will suffer.
