The manner in which you define success is arbitrary. George Foreman had as many easy fights as the Klitschkos, but the manner in which he won them was quite different. Foreman also had some difficult fights most of which he overcame and won. That can not be said of the Klitschkos.
You still obviously can't see the point. I must have used words that you can't understand, such as... "unequivocally". First of all, you clearly can't read the signs. Second, whether or not Wlad will fight Haye in the summer isn't even the issue, or the question that I asked. However, to answer that question... Chris Arreola just gave an interview saying that he has no deal to fight Wlad, and was actually seeming more and more like he wasn't. David Haye's managers have came out and stated that Wlad is trying to fight Haye. Wlad himself has said that he wants to fight Haye this year... and Vitali has also said that Wlad will most likely fight Haye in the summer. So... obviously you can't read the signs very well, since you keep saying that "all signs are that he'll fight fat-titties". I would love to know what those signs are. I think that most likely scenario is that baring a loss, Wlad will end up fighting both of them this year... or within his next three fights. However, REGARDLESS of that... you still haven't answer my question. I know why... BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO ANSWER.:deal I for one, don't consider Wlad to be ducking Haye even if he doesn't fight Haye until Haye actually proves himself against top competition at Heavyweight, and gets himself ranked in a position that would lend credence to the thought that Wlad is avoiding him by not fighting a fighter that has taken out the other contenders. So, the question stands... I will copy/paste since you must have missed it the first time. Let's try this again.... I see that you have no answer to back up your statements. When you find the balls yourself, to actually back up your statements, than I will push forward with this discussion. Until then... I will leave it where it stands. So... whenever you can answer the question of exactly how Wlad could be considered "ducking" Haye... I am all ears. Prove to me... exactly how Haye has put himself into the position of a fighter being ducked by the Heavyweight Champion. Exactly how Haye is the top contender above all others to that title. Exactly who at that weight that he has beat in order for you to be able to say unequivocally that Haye is being ducked by Wlad.
Explain.:think After you explain, please remind me..... what the hell does George Foreman have to do with this?
If anything it is obvious Glass Jaw Haye is ducking Vitali. It looked like Haye was going to cry when he was told he had to fight Vitali instead of Wlad. :roflatsch
Explain what? :huh If you don't understand the concept of comparison, then I suggest you take a course in English. I am old enough to remember the demolition derby between George Foreman and Ron Lyle. It was a fight where only the toughest man would win, as it happens it turned out to be Foreman. Tell me, when was the last time a Klitschko ever reached down deep within himself to find the strength to face overwhelming adversity? Vitali had that chance against Byrd but decided to quit. However, in the history of boxing there are many examples of men winning fights with one hand. Now I will admit that was his only chance to show the grit and determination of a real champion. In his next fight against Gomez, he might be tested. Gomez has talent and if he decides to use it Klitschko will have his hands full.
Uh... ever seen Wlad vs Peter?:huh Getting up from being knocked down to dominate your opponent and win just isn't good enough anymore? I am pretty sure that getting knocked down, and getting back up and winning is pretty much the definition of overcoming adversity in boxing. Let alone the fact that he overcame that horrible spot in his career between his Sanders and Brewster fights. Once again.. overcoming adversity when 95% of the boxing world wrote him off. Besides that.. is it Wlad's fault that he isn't vulnerable enough... or that he is too great of a technical boxer to be reduced to a brawl? This is the sport of "boxing"... you know that right? Once again.. besides that... what the hell does George Foreman have to do with Wladimir Klitschko? You do realize that different champions are different... correct? Why no mention of Foreman vs Young?:huh Only Foreman vs Lyle has to do with Wlad? The type of logic that some of you guys use is absolutely mind boggling. If Wlad mows an opponent down in a couple rounds... the guy was a bum. If Wlad establishes his jab, breaks his opponent down, completely dismantles them and stops them anywhere between 6-11... Wlad is boring and should have done it earlier. If Wlad gets into any sort of trouble during a fight.. he's a glass chinned bum having a panic attack.... but if he doesn't have any rough patches in a fight, then he isn't a true Champion because he wasn't "tested". Yet.. again... if he gets "tested" that just shows his weakness and vulnerability, and proves that he doesn't cut it among the ATG's.:nut
OK- in your world- who should Wlad knockout next? Wlad showed he had a helluva' chin when he took those shots from Brewster, so forget abou the questionable chin crap. If he'd taken an 8 and clinched, he would have KO'd Sanders.
Fighting Weight clearly dodges the real posts... like I have already posted. He also says nonsense things such as acting like Wlad is dodging Haye, because Haye has been knocking people out. As if just about all of Wlad's opponents aren't doing that. Also... as if Chris Arreola himself (even if Wlad ends up fighting him)... isn't 26-0 with 23 KOs..... against actual heavyweights. Let alone... Arreola himself hasn't been stopped like Haye has, which even happened against an old cruiserweight. Fighting Weight clearly has a bias for his UK fighters. That's the great thing about being a true boxing fan like myself. I like fighters from everywhere... and I put them all on a level playing field when discussing them. You will also hear FW say nonsense things such as acting like Wlad is just going after fighters like Hasim Rahman. Now... this is funny on many different levels. First... Rahman knocked out his hero Lennox... so he immediately has to act like this a "different" Rahman. Second, all the way up until Wlad signed to fight Rahman... it was Fighting Weight and the rest of the "hate squad" on here everyday talking about how Vitali was scared of Rahman, and how he scared Vitali into retirement... and that Vitali was STILL scared of him. Of course... they had to hurry up and go into backtrack mode once they realized that Wlad was fighting Rahman, because of course... they didn't want Wlad to end up getting any sort of credit for knocking him out. Next... the best part of it all is that they fail to mention that Wlad was actually scheduled to fight the undefeated Povetkin, who pulled out with an injury... forcing Wlad to fight the next highest available contender for his title... which was Rahman. They actually have the nerve to bash on Wlad for taking on the next highest available contender, rather than just scrapping the card.:-( Let alone the fact that Rahman is a former undisputed World Champion. It's amazing how knocking out Hasim Rahman became such a horrible thing as soon as Wlad did it.
