I doubt Holt would have dropped Mosley or Cotto like that, or even pulverize Hatton like that so yea, Pac is probably one of the hardest punchers in his weight class. Mosley showed more fear towards Pac's punching power than he did Canelo and I seriously doubt Holt hits as hard as Canelo.
I think Pac will edge a close one. Bradley is a special fighter with youth on his side but he might be getting in over his head. We'll see. Winner of this fight deserves to be P4P #1 in my book.
I think Manny will win this fight but I am really impressed with the way Bradley is training for this fight. Bradley has worked hard and he should be able to put up a good fight. I think Manny wins this fight because: #1. Bradley is a LIGHT welterweight, yes he has fought over 140 before but with the extra weight he hasn't brought up his power with him. #2. Bradley doesn't have the punching power to really hurt Pacquaio. Pacquaio has a really good chin and has fought against light middles so Bradley is no threat to knock Pac out. #3. Bradley is fairly young, I know there are a lot of fighters that won a title even younger, (Mike Tyson comes to mind right away) but I just don't believe that Tim has the camp and the trainer to do the job, (Maybe I am wrong). Now this is why I think the fight is interesting to watch. #1. Manny thinks he's Ghandhi now. He has too many distractions now, He has a spiritual advisor, he's a Movie star, Recording artist, Politician, Family man...etc when you have that much going on in your life it takes away from Boxing. #2. Manny didn't look very good in his last fight. (No reason is necessary we already beat this to death already) #3. Manny in my opinion doesn't have the killer instinct like he use to. Now he wants to carry the other fighter to a 12 round decision which I think he does again on Saturday. I would like to see someone push Manny to the limit just like Cotto did to Mayweather. Manny is a good fighter but his interest is Boxing is gone, if he keeps on fighting especially live boxers he is going to lose eventually. Manny wins a 12 round decision in this one but a lot of factors will come into play.
depends on how bradley wins and how Manny losses if he gets his ass beat dont expect him to rematch Tim, but if its a close good fight he will rematch him. I think Tim is catching Manny at the perfect time here.... if he goes after Mannys rib cage the way he did with Casamayor he has a solid chance here. Tim has faced alot of southpaws none like Pac no doubt but that experience will help him here
If Pac loses he NEEDS to retire, he hasn't looked great lately and a fighter like Bradley with no power and an aggressive come forward in your face style that plays right into Pacs strengths should never be able to beat Pac....if he does it just shows that Pacs time has come and he should bow out before taking more L's he never should have taken. Call it a day on a first ballot HOF and ATG career with feats that might never be duplicated. He'd be a lock for top 40 fighters of all time.
