He's motivation is completely gone, he got caught being a dick, but i wouldn't be surprised he doesn't care anymore and has enough money and only wants the big fights. He'll step up and fight Jones now.
That thought went through my mind as well. He's 38. He's tired of fighting the guys the UFC wants to put him against. He only has one life to live. He wants to do things he wants to do, not the UFC. Maybe I'm just a combat sports conspiracy theorist, but that's how I see it. None of my Facebook friends seem to believe me. lol Oh, well. Anderson vs Roy would be fun to watch at least.
Nah, he has done that loads of times and then won. Just got away with it too long against very ordinary fighters that were overawed. Clowning with your hands on your hips is a huge risk that looks amazing when you land a front kick to the face, but catch an arm punch when you are leaning back at full stretch and you look a total ****ing dick.

I don't think there was a fix. Watch the replay, and in the middle of his clown-weave, his head's going in exactly the wrong direction for the left hook he didn't see coming- straight into the punch. Weidman then proceeded to bounce his head off the mat like a midget dribbling a basketball. A knockout punch doesn't have to look the most impressive if it lands just right, and that one did.

Why does Silva want a shot old 43 yr old Roy Jones. Today Roy Jones is irrelevant in boxing and the only way he can make himself relevant again is fighting a UFC fighter Mercer, James Tony, and now Jones Jr. I guess Jones needs the money and UFC needs to show that a UFC fighter has superior boxing skills than the best boxer. Most dumb ass UFC fans probably still think Jones Jr is still somehow Mr. unbeatable.
