Besides being younger, what advantage would Berto have here? Might he at this point be a tick faster than Floyd? I don't know, but it's not going to matter. Frankly, Berto may be a good fighter, but I'd pick the whole roster of welter/light middleweight range guys to beat him. Mayweather and Pacquiao should be total givens. But I'd say Mosley, Williams, Cotto, Clottey and Cintron best him, whatever the different manner they may do it in. People seem to want Pacquiao to fight Berto because he's undefeated and looks young and great against lower-level guys. But Pacquiao has beaten three straight guys I'd favor against Berto. :conf And Mayweather just shut out a guy I think squashes Berto. What would Berto have on Mosley? Mosley is far more durable, not that much slower, far more powerful, a better boxer (yes, he is), ridiculously more experienced...Berto is good, just not that good.

Edit: I should add, I'd still love it if Mayweather or Pacquiao dethroned this kid. It's disgraceful that they're in the division and Berto has been an undefeated "champion" there for two ****ing years.

Mayweather would make him look like a club fighter. Who the hell has he fought to get this kind of respect? He's had major problems every time he's stepped up to a B level fighter, and now he's supposed to hang with PBF or Pac???

Certifies mismatch, with Floyd slapping him around for a few rounds and forcing his corner to stop the fight in the mid/late rounds...

Lotsa ppl say Floyd can't punch but the bombs he landed on Mosley, do u think Berto could take it? I doubt it very much!

Berto will never KO Floyd and sadly that's his only chance of winning becuz Floyd will drop Berto's workrate w/ his defensive style and look at every opponent that faced Floyd their compubox numbers are the lowest of any of their fights

now all the "elite" fighters he fought that Mayweather would stomp on like Forbes and Collazo he couldn't knock them out

and Berto has also been put on his ass before

all those dudes are broken fighters and williams is overrated and his style is amateur he never even beat an elite fighter and as soon as he faced one he got KO'd

the only person I would accept is Cotto becuz he is trying to rebuild himself as a fighter even though he will never be the same

:huh He never beat an elite fighter? As soon as he faced an elite fighter he got KO'd? But, he's only been KO'd once and technically as soon as he faced the man who did it, he won a decision against him....:blood

Floyd would UD Berto with ease, as would Pac. Berto's feet are too slow and he's too basic. Not of the p4p calibre at all. Wars with Luis Collazo are more his level.

Floyd needs to fight a prime, young, undefeated, not just KTFO, African American...

Berto brings nothing to the table that Floyd has not faced yet. Berto struggled against Collazo who has a slick elusive style minus Floyd skill and defense. Berto will definitely get schooled by Floyd.
