Im picking Urango Ko here. Gonna go check the odds tommorow. Don't like the way Berto handled Collazo's power n he hits miles less harder than Urango. Urango will take his power up with him and catch Berto. Berto is similair to Dawson in that he fights in quick, explosive bursts and covers up for the rest of the round. That gives Urango his chance.

This Capfunds you speak of is foreign to me...

Anyway, I used to like Berto, but as I break him down more, he looks like a very ordinary fighter, except he has blazing handspeed and flashy combinations that sound like they hurt....

That will win him a lot of fights, but hardly makes him elite...

Urango isn't elite, but he's a solid fighter and Berto struggles with solid fighters.

I said the same thing after his fight with Estrada, yet I saw no noticable improvements....with the exception of his right uppercut, but even with that punch he often becomes predictable with it.

He couldnt even KO Hatton and Hatton put on a boxing clinic on Urango...Hatton is leagues behind Berto in terms of raw talent and skills....Berto is going to beat the dog **** out of Urango...:yep

First of all, I wouldn't call it a boxing clinic...

    BUT....

I think Urango improved since that fight. He became much more aggressive and appeared to gain more stamina, probably due to seemingly running out of gas against Hatton, and looking somewhat helpless which his lack of experience must have played a significant part of.

Not to mention, Urango had Hatton hurt with body shots, and then the boxing match became a typical hit and hold matchup that looked more like a wrestling match than a boxing match.

Also, Hatton has better footwork than Berto.

That may be true about Hatton having the better footwork of the two...Cant dispute that but Overall Berto has the better overall skillset.(better jab, better punching technique, quicker hands, ect.)

If Berto choses to mix it up (fight inside and outside) he will make Urango look average IMO...I doubt that happens though because Berto does tend to fight flat footed at times..

With that being said I expect Berto to do a little more boxing in this match up while picking his hard shots on the inside...

Well like I said, Berto SHOULD win, but given the odds, I would bet on Urango.

Berto by UD. Coming off of a turbulent victory over the south Pac Collazo should provide incentive for Berto to box a bit more against Urango who's another south paw but with better power. I forsee Berto fighting more on the outside and calculating his flurries. Urango's posture leaves him open for an uppercuw which is Berto's money punch so a stoppage isn't out of the question but the safe pick is Berto by UD.

Looks like an easy one for Berto, unfortunately. Here he's facing a smaller, slower man who relies on his punching power and his strength to get things done, physical talents that will be severely watered down with the move up in weight.

Good, safe match making by Berto's team..... and Urango is screwed.

Berto's defense is less than stellar, and so is his chin... Urango by stoppage.

Both fighters aren't anything special, but I gotta say Berto since Urango is coming up in weight and Berto's handspeed will give him problems.

Hope Berto steps it up in his next fight, maybe rematch Collazo(who IMO beat Berto) if he can't get a better fighter.
