Before Cotto-Margarito fight, anyone who fought Cotto wasn't the same after.

I really get tired of the "the fighter who fought this guy" talk. It's not 2007, it's 2008. Besides, the Zab who fought Cotto is the same Zab who fought Baldo, Spinks, Mayweather, Clottey and all the rest. Zab's biggest problem is that he's a frontrunner. As soon as things stop going his way, he falls apart. Berto is bigger and stronger than Zab. He can throw every punch in the book and throws them with bad intentions. Unless Zab got him out of there early, Zab would get into trouble and would fall apart.

Only the bums weren't the same. Zab was the same, Ndou was the same, Paulie was pretty much the same, Quintana won a world title after fighting Cotto. Time will tell about Mosley.

FRONTRUNNER! Mayweather really exposed Judah on this. Judah just doesnt know how to win a boxing match that goes the distance

Zab can win a fight that goes the distance. However, he has a hard time overcoming adversity.

I dont think he really knows how to win a fight that goes the distance. Seems like a frontrunner to me.

Unless Zab gets Berto early or hurts him, I see Berto beating Zab down.

Dont see him hurting Berto at all, Berto is a big welter

Zab hasn't been the same since getting KTFO by Zoo.

That doesn't make sense. Zab has won plenty of fights that have gone the distance.

He doesnt know how to go the distance with competition. He always tires and slows down. He hasn't defeated any good competition in 12. Only person I'll give him credit for defeating in 12 is Corley

Zab has 6 losses. Only 3 of them went the distance. Baldo isn't that good of a fighter. So the only good comp that he went 12 with and loss was Mayweather and Spinks. He fought well against Spinks and should've gotten at least a draw. He was thoroughly beaten by Mayweather, but Mayweather was also the top fighter in the sport.

I'm making a point that he's not great at beating good competition in a fight that goes the full 12

    Thoughts ?

Zab lost to Baldomir and was subsequently given a shot at Mayweather.

Now he loses to Clottey and he should get a shot at Berto's belt ?

In the past seven years he has a 9-6 record, and holds only one clear significant victory in all that time, and you call Berto overrated?

Zab should never box again at 147. He doesn't have the power to hurt at that weight. He needs to refocus, drop to 140 and pursue a title or titles at light welter.

He also needs slapped up the side of the head and given an attitudinal adjustment. With the talent the man has, his record of accomplishment is shameful.

He doesn't have too many years left. If he wants to leave a legacy (and put some $$$ away), he needs to make some serious adjustments.

I'm making a point that he's only failed against twice against good comp that went 12 rounds. And in 1 of those fights, he fought really well and could've won.
