It's always a trap to get carried away by what you've just seen, but with that long jab and the same realm of handspeed, we might be wondering in a couple of years how well a prime Roy would have fared against Direll, let alone the curent one.

Obviously though, that day is still a long ways off. We're talking about Hanshaw, man. Hanshaw.

Dirrell is an ******* and a head case but the mother****er is good. He is fast as **** throws smart punches and he is a natural kind of like Dawson. He is a little smarter then Dawson in the ring b/c he does no get lured into brawls. With his speed and jab he will keep winning.

What's wrong with Hanshaw? He looked a little slower than usual last night, but he's not a bad fighter. He had easy wins over decent fighters like Ikeke and Bunteng, and did hold his own with a guy who people still rate in the LHW top 10.

This was the first time I seen Dirrel fight and man did he look fast. The other thing I loved about seeing this dude throw a punch was they had mal intent and at that SPEED it was a thing of beauty. One thing I noticed about him though he is going to need to get better moving around the ring I kinda felt he was getting placed in the corner to easy. Thank goodness for his speed. This guy can become beastily!!!!! I guess movement isn't what I mean I guess its more like ring generalship?

Well he is a SMW who can probably fight at LHW. How do you think he would fair against guys like Bute, Kessler, and Dawson?

Roy needs to retire, yeah right I remember a fight with Lacy and Reid. I guess Lacy had a easier time with than Joe, then look what Joe did to Lacy

    Andre Direll defo looked impressive.
but nothing Roy hasn't already done before and better.

good looking prospect no doubt, I see good things for him.
But Roy is on a "Superfight" level. somewhere Direll is nowhere near at this point.

I also agree, Roy should take ODLH by the hand and walk off into the sunset together hand & hand.
(Oh yeah bring along Hopkins aswell) this should be the last year for their run.
