Didn't everybody say that about Taylor - Abraham? And who was leading on the cards again going into the 12th? Abrham can win a decision without outboxing Dirrell in a battle of technical skill. His outbursts of violence can have an "oh ****" effect on an opponent and throw him of his gameplan, which can be an equalizer to Dirrell's skills. Abraham is more dangerous than Froch and harder to hit, Dirrell would need real mental strength along with his skills to follow a gameplan well.
Hmmm...in the first fight with Miranda, Abraham came forward in the 9th and almost KO'd him with a broken jaw and after already losing a shitload of blood. Miranda had certainly demonstrated an ability to hurt him. I have never seen him deterred from following his gameplan by anything another fighter did. He is one tough cookie...
Dont we all hopw that Dirrel changes his RUN tatics into fighting tatics? That is ALL I ask for. Is for him to fight and not run ...
if the ring is big enough he can run all night and with all the whining about how he got "robbed" versus froch, he might get an undeserved decision, especially in the US.
Dirrell will try to cheat by runnning, holding, falling down on canvas and complaining. He is hoping his judges will cheat for him.
