Andre Dirrell will be top 5 by all sanctioning bodies by the next rankings and is ranked 10th on the ring magazine top 10 for super middleweights.

I was shocked that he wasn't on Dan Rafael's top 10 but i'm sure another victory would put him up there.

I think 2 more fights against top 10 opponents or former title holders/contenders will get him in position for a title shot.

Lacy would be the ideal opponent right now.

Lacy isn't a stepping stone, he lost 2 fights to two champions ... Taylor and Calzaghe

I was just thinking about that earlier today actually. Plenty of intriguing fights to be made throughout 168 but what about throwing Dirrell in with Lacy, Ward in with Miranda and the winners to fight? Whomever comes out on top of that little tourney will of made a bit of a name for himself.

But as I said, numerous fighters hanging about at the lower ranks of 168. Pascal, loser of Inkin/Balszay, Stieglitz, Berrio, Hanshaw, Mendy, Green etc

I gotta feeling that Dirrell would beat; Taylor, Lacy, Bute, Berrio, Kessler, Hopkins, Calzaghe, and Dawson.

I'm telling you guys, the sky is the limit for this man ... Michigan guys are built tough ...

Andrade to me is the gatekeeper at 168....if you are phony he will knock you out, if you're the real deal and you beat him then you're on your way...

it is funny cuz this is somewhat true but it shows the difference in talent between the weight classes cuz he is a 168 pound version of margo..and he is top dog while andrade is a gatekeeper

I think the sky is the limit for this guy ... he's about 6'2 1/2 - 6'3 and he's very long ... very fast and is getting more accurate as he fights.

He's getting world class sparring and training with championship fighters and contenders ... I think he's well on his way.

His biggest victory is over Stevens, who is a journeyman.
Any fighter from the list would be a good step up.

Andre Ward is the better fighter.
