and this is why all these people love him.he should be in top, right next to Denzel and Spike Lee,doing movies about the hard life brothers have in the hood
Fight was a long time ago. Don't recall exactly how I scored it except I had Froch marginally winning as did a lot of others including the officials. Look how slow Froch is by comparison. Look at his defense. Dirrell couldn't beat him & fought like a *****. Beating AA is not impressive either. Dirrell has some skills but success in boxing requires more than that. Dirrell has to prove himself. I don't think he will.
I'm not saying the guy's the best in the world. I'm saying i'd favour him to beat any supermiddleweight providing he comes back successfully.
There is no way anyone who scores by the rules of boxing would have Froch winning. He landed maybe 5 power punches the entire fight. And Dirrell fought so much like a *****, that he hurt Froch and Froch had to result to dirty tactics just so he could beat him. And Dirrell beating Abraham wasnt impressive? You mean when Abraham was considered the favorite to win the tournament? Until Dirrell exposed him? Yeah convenient. Here's round 5. Please tell me at what point Dirrell fights like a *****. Did you actually see the post fight interview of Dirrell? He made no complaints about losing and wasn't aggrieved. He looked more like he was relieved that the 'fight' finished.
Dirrell was impressing me in the Super 6, up until the conclusion of the Abraham bout anyway. I was becoming a fan of his in fact. He has a lot going for him if he can come back well, I even favoured him to upset Ward.
Utter nonsense. Dirrell was clearly shocked and down about the being robbed. Jim Grey was trying to interview him and Dirrell didnt even make sense because he was so shocked and flustered. What the hell were you watching.
No, there is nothing wrong with having a good defence. It is the turning around running and leaping in hugging because Dirrell was pissing his pants about getting hit that was a turn off. There is a clear difference between having a good defence and shitting bricks to do anything not to get hit. He wasn't in there to fight and that is the problem.
Ofcourse I did. After scoring the fight I then watched the interview, say what a nervous kid said and immediately changed my scorecard. I don't blame you for being stupid. As a newbie I made the same mistakes putting emphasis on ring generalship and who the aggressor was. Unfortunately boxing isn't actually scored like that. Anyways you've only ever seen him once so your opinion means fuk all. Before making this thread I saw as many fights as I could so my opinion is pretty informed on the matter.
