Another cowardly response. Expected. Dirrell was flustered. A young fighter just got robbed and he didnt know why. He would have agreed to anything Jim Grey asked him at the moment. Dirrell however did not say he lost the 12th. Another rumor started by the cowardly haters. It is well known that ringside observers even admit they can be caught up in the moment, distracted or have a poor view of the action. Those at home get multiple angles and can even turn off the sound if they want to as to get an unbiased viewpoint of the action. Stop being a cowardly ***** and admit what everyone already knows.
He has excellent timing and judge of range. He also mixes up his punches well, executes a jab to the body which is a bit of a lost art amongst the new generation and doesnt retreat back in straight lines like a Jermain Taylor. Froch and Abraham are 2 completely different fighters. Abraham is a come foward slugger and Froch is a boxer puncher with unusual physical dimensions that give him advantages over most fighters he fights and if he focused can actually be effective in that mode. To say Dirrell has advantages over both of these fighters is merely saying Dirrell is superior to these fighters. Because neither of these fighters have anything in common. Dirrell in the prospect stages beat both of these fighters, one of which convincingly. His skills are readily apparent and because of his physical advantages as a fighter being the superior American athlete he is, he has no limits if he continues to work.
I'd rather have him to have 5 or 6 fights against journeymen and clubfighters so we can be sure that his miraculously healed brain can take the ordeal of boxing. I don't want to see this negative and cheating boxer get a big payday any time soon.
Dirrell may have looked negative in a couple of the rounds, but after 12 rounds, when it's all said and done, he still outboxed Froch for a majority of those 12 rounds. Dirrell made Froch look like a primitive man in many of those rounds...swinging into air constantly. I'm a fan of neither so I can objectively say that Dirrell outboxed Froch and possibly won up to 8 of the rounds.
And STILL not a single justification or rationalisation of why he fled from ward and faked a brain injury?. May aswell close this thread because untill someone can fully defend these actions then Direll will forever be remebered as a coward and a cheat.
He's been quoted recently as saying he isn't that bothered about a rematch with Froch. ? Weird for someone who was "robbed" don't you think? "The only way I would want to fight Froch is if he had a belt. That's the only way I would want to see him again. It really wouldn't bother me if I never fought him again but im not dodging anyone."
