This poll is shockingly one sided in favour of Froch so far. Shockingly.

    Yep.

It also means that, if Dirrell wins, he is a very underrated fighter around here.

The first 3 rounds I see dirrel having froch all off balance and nervous when he beholds that hand speed that pops him before he can react. Dirrel will be making froch look horrible. rounds 4-5 I see froch gettin settled down but not being really effective and still getting popped by dirrel with big fast straight shots. Sometime after round 6 I see froch starting to get wore down by the high amount of flush shots as dirrel starts getting in close and smothering froch with short precise shot's. When dirrel choses to go in close is the time when people will know the fight that dirrel is the truth. Besides Froch's uppercut he needs space to swing and dirrel is good at smothering while staying accurate and defensive right infront of his mans face.

Dirrel has played around with all his opponents and has looked vulnerable while backing straight up but his reflexes keep him from getting hit when it looks like he should get hit. Him making a mistake is the only way I see froch gettin him. But then I think of how slow Froch is I think he might not even catch dirrel when he has the chance to land a bomb. If it's anybody's plan going out the window it's froch's. Froch will not be able to counterpunch dirrel. He will have to open up and wing it which I think will get him caught and dropped either way.

An unimpressive Froch by KO....again. It wont matter in the long run because neither of these guys are winning it.

Froch is deceptively good. Even his speed (which is far from his strong point) is underrated. Look at the first round of the Pascal fight - where Froch matched very fast Pascal for speed.

Froch is very very hard to beat over 12 rounds... and this will be displyed again against very good Direll.

We'll See...But he must win in convincing style...Maybe a KO...Because American Fighters...Expecially Black American fighter NEVER get a "FAIR-SHAKE" overseas!!!!

Pascal is from Canada...their fighters are never "well-rounded". So I never had much of an interest and / or prediction about the Froch vs Pascal fight. However, I predicted Taylor to win...In fact he was 14 seconds from winning, just got careless!!! But unlike Pascal and Taylor, Dirrell is WELL-ROUNDED..fight inside, outside, righty, lefty far superior speed and defense. The only problem is that because this fight will take place "across the pond"...American, especially Black American fighters NEVER get a fair shake He will have to win EVERY ROUND or KO.

I think i'll be putting a bet on this, probably just a cheeky fiver on Froch winning, i'll get a bigger payout if I say by KO too.

This is definitely the fight I'm looking forward to most in the opening round of the tournament. I think a lot of people are sleeping on Dirrell and these Brits will be in for a shock once their boy gets his '0' taken from him in spectacular fashion.

I think Froch takes it on experience and toughness. probably a brutal ko.

I think people are judging their whole opinion on Froch because of a sub-standard performance against Taylor.

People also forget that Taylor won the first half of both his losses to Pavlik - and dropped Pavlik really heavily in the first half.

Taylor was outboxing Froch and stunned him in the third and went on the win the rest of the first half.

The rounds 6-12 were going either way until Froch smashed him up in the 12th, knowing he could not gamble on the cards. Taylor was tiring, but Froch always has that in his locker in any bout. Against Pascal he chose to coast, knowing he had the title in the bag, but still gave Pascal some bombs.

Like i was saying though : Taylor always wins the first half of everyone of his fights.
