i think people just took that all the wrong way. they hate floyd who is a winner and ward is floyd polar oppisite and he is a winner. go ****ing figgure !maybe its something else ?
I must say, Andre Ward shocked me. I thought he would be all for the showdown with Bute. Bute obviously has no problem with fighting stateside. He wants to be a star in America. He working on his english and all that. Ward was supposed to express his interest in the fight right after he defeated Froch. Instead, he pulled a lame move by saying Bute needs to fight A level fighters first. Bute is 30-0 [really 29-1 if it wasn't for the hometown ref saving his life that night], Ward is 25-0. Bute should be saying that Ward needs to get his weight up before he even thinks about fighting him. I hate when fighters have the 'better than thou' attitude. He needs to step in there and fight.
Well it cant be anything racial, Floyd is black and Ward is clearly irish-American. Maybe it's the bald head thing they got goin'.
:deal Exactly, the S.O.G., now think he is too good for the sport, the fans and Showtime who give him the opportunity to become what he has become. But Ward now has this attitude of a spoiled child in the way that everything should be granted to them. Really unprofessionnal if you ask my opinion.
I dont understand how thanking god is unprofessional. But if the god thing bothers u ignore it. Funny how people get so upset over it lol. It really doesnt mean much.
