Andre S.O.G Ward Appreciation Thread

Yeah i'm not a fan of certain things he does, i think Hunter likes him to do it. I noticed a bit of headwork at times again last night. He's gonna get away with it sadly..

 

If Ward-Bute does not happen next I will honestly be more pissed off than Mayweather-Pacquiao.

 

Yeah he's smart with the way he uses his head, hard to spot at times for a referee.

Ward no doubt is an elite fighter but i just cant stand him, his style is horrible to watch IMO. Stop the holding and use of the head and he will be good to watch.

 

I be honest a few times he showboated a little, Not my cup of tea that when your proclaiming your different to rest. He's elite level but since this thread was made i've kinda started to dislike certain things about him and team.

 

for me this got me and summed him up really (paraphrased):

"i was raised not to pat myself on the back, i wont praise myself......but everyone says im great"

 

Yeah i remember hearing that, i think he's got a smugness about him and he clearly wanted to stop Froch last night and didn't do it. He just doesn't sit on punches or put them together enough IMO. He has a formula but he lacks the stoppages to entertain fans. Feel like Manny Steward typing that ..

 

i just think theres a lot of falseness about him, he acts like he's holier than thou (intended) but he lets his guard down a bit when it comes to acknowledging how great he is, i dont thin he possesses genuine modesty, but i rate him as a fighter
