Who says he cany box? Just let's get a sense of proportion here. he is good ....just not as great as US fans desperate for some success make him out to be. Olympic win was good...hard to figure out ward over 3rounds though, stylistic nightmare in the ams. As for his pro record....a few decent wins, no rematches against guys who probably have him figured out now.....fights once a year, in his home town, with his uncle as ref and his cousins as judges....hardly the mark of a great champion. Sense of proportion, that's all.

Ward fights in a traditional gypsy bare knuckle style. It works great bare knuckle but its hard to get KOs with boxing gloves in that style That makes sense from Wards background as an Irish Gypsy Traveller .
he is good technically but he fights dirty on the inside and his best wins (froch/kessler) are not noteably inside fighters, they tend to box more at range. take a look at the bika fight where Ward struggled when someone fought him at his own game
