Bute has a lot of KOs and punching power it seems. Bute also hit Froch solid a few times, and Froch came forward like a man possessed. Ward doesn't have many KOs and people crap on his punching power. He stood in front of Froch, popped him in the face, stood there, and Froch didn't come in. The man had enough power to keep Froch off him, and hurt him at times. That's the stuff that annoys me on this forum. A fighter like Calzaghe for instance... Everyone complains HE ONLY SLAPS. He slapped Hopkins, etc. What kind of grown man let's another man SLAP him around the ring? If it doesn't hurt you, and your not afraid YOU CHASE HIM DOWN AND PUNCH HIM IN THE MOUTH! Calzaghe wasn't running like a girl, and neither was Ward. These guys are good fighters there up against, and they must hit hard enough to keep them honest.
This is also true :think But Ward hardly uses his trademark full body weight headbutt anymore. We might see it against Dawson, if Ward is allowed to fight in his homestate and he feels pressured.
I don't think Anselmo Moreno has ever knocked anyone out but he has enough skill and pop to make guys quit or just overwhelm them.
Just because he don't have a lot of KOs on Boxrec doesn't mean he hasn't properly KO'd fighters. Pacman vs Diaz and Pirog vs Jacobs were both recorded as TKOs...
Look at any highlight videos.. There arent any kind of kos. Even one of them considered a ko was actually a tko
