By the betting odds he is big favorite. Having not seen much of him, being seen quite a bit of Miranda does he deserve to be? Obviously Miranda has at least punchers chance but does he have more of a chance?
Andre Ward is the real deal, think a SMW version of Floyd and RJJ except still a little raw and green.
We'll find out soon tonight, his fight with Mirands is a serious test he MUST pass. Based on ability I'll say he is the real deal but tests like the fight coming up soon should give us a solid answer.
Miranda is more experienced, but Ward is more seasoned and polished as a fighter. Looking at the fact of styles make fights, Ward should win strictly on skill level. The key to victory for Ward will be the jab and left hooks.
I think we might find out what his chin is made of tonight. I can tell you this, if Miranda is able to hit him square a few times, it could be very interesting. :yep
This is a HUGE fight for Ward. And although i like the kid i wouldnt be surprised if a bruiser like Miranda knocked him out. Ward has to use all his boxing skills and get Miranda respect early. Tought tough fight.
He'll be the first fighter to outbox Miranda if he can get the victory ... but I don't see him knocking out Miranda ... even though its been done before. I think right now he's hype
I see this fight going the way of Vernon Forest vs Mayorga. MIranda will overwhelm Ward & kayo him. Everyone is trying to push Ward as the next big thing. He will probably go the way of the other next big thing Jermain Taylor if Miranda destroys him. We shall see!!!!!!!
Ward will probably get knocked down ... up until now he's faced soft opposition ... I think that he can pull off a decision but nothing more ... his chin is questionable and so is his power.
When you have a fighter that is as talented as Ward the question really is can he handle the pressure of a guy that is going to fight him back. In most of his fights to this point the other guys dont fight back. Miranda will fight back. And no matter who good you think a fighter is you just never know until you see him in that situation for the first time.
I've nver been impressed with him but he's a very solid boxer. Freankly I've been discussed with this guy's level of opposition and he's too concervitive for my liking. Hope Miranda KOs him but I feel like its going to be the otherway around.
