Jack of all. His strength is his versatility, not any one particular strength.

Calzaghe didn't fight with a broken hand against Kessler.

How about answering my question. Do you or do you not think the broken hand and no sparring had an impact on kesslers performance?

Ward is the most complete boxer in the game not named PBF. He can fight at all ranges with a high ring IQ and good defense.:deal

how he is top 10 P4P is a joke, SMW division is pretty weak at the moment no disrespect to Froch or a faded Kessler but there is no one out there. Fact is Joe C, Eubank Benn Watson, Collins infact most of the top SMW from history would have taken Ward apart.

He relys on his strength and dirty tricks on the inside to take fighters apart, the headbutting of Kessler was a disgrace in that fight and his reluctance to to take risky fights away from his hometown judge and ref will always leave question marls about his heart and desire.

The guy is good and a top level fighter but P4P he is not yet. Let him step up in weight and take on some real challnges see how he fares second he cant out muscle and has the inside taken away he will struggle massively.

    Preparation now?
    Preparation, broken hand, anything else?

Calzaghe had damaged hands throughout, he even broke a bone against Manfredo.
Calzaghe couldnt pinch with full authority.

How can I answer your question when - Kessler said the hand wasnt a problem before and after the fight. I dont know if he had sparring or not, I have heard that Calzaghe had limited sparring when suffering with damaged hands before some fights.

Do you think Calzaghe fighting with two badly damaged hands, old and at the end of his career, having his last fight at the weight was not a factor?

Tell me Bat, why do you think it was that Kessler lost to Ward and the rematch with Froch?
How do you think a fight would have gone between prime Lacy and prime Kessler?

No I dont think Calzaghe having damaged hands in other fights affected his performance in the Kessler fight and neither did the weight.

So what do you think about Kessler's broken hand and no sparring before Calzaghe? Did it have an effect?

Agaisnt a warrior in Froch who I have rated #8 on my top 10 P4P lists. He also holds good wins over Abraham and Kessler. None of which were undefeated but still great fighters.

If you ask Bailey, then neither of those could carry Veit's spitbucket.

    nope.

Rigo is better rounded and more complete than Ward....so is Broner..Garcia as well.

That kid Crawford has more game than Andre.

Froch had Ward falling into clinches in the later rounds like a fresh bum.:deal
No wonder he doesn't want a rematch...Froch figured that as.s out.
