Andre Ward needs to work on his power

    He has no power.

    As I said in a previous thread on the subject, Ward's lack of power is why he would have zero chance to defeat Calzaghe.

    No chance.

    Yup. Calzaghe would win the widest UD in championship history, and Ward would be as polished as a silver kettle after the bout ;)

    Floyd used to KD guys earlier in his career. Floyd actually has some pop. Way more than Ward.

    He's never been a puncher and never will be one, especially now that he has moved up in weight. Extra power won't make him a better fighter and he's never going to beat Kovalev by trying to overpower him.

    Ward fights always very negatively and for that style, he doesn´t need power punches (Of course, he would be more versatile with more tools to his bag).

    Like always, he focuses to spoil what ever Kovalev brings to the table and after that he might try to create offense of his own.

    Posters and their obsession with power/KOs in boxing makes me laugh. Doesn't mean as much as you think it does kids.
