Kessler was his mandatory, he's fighting Froch so the winner there will be I think. I don't know if the regular champ and the super champ have to fight though. WBA ****ed things up even more with the 'Super' champion thing.

Maybe, there have been no concerns about it so far it seems all is fine regarding his shoulder now. I can't see him ageing overnight any time soon though.

Yes its controversial, but you can only be a fan of somebody as long as he gives you a reason to be supportive.
The fact that his fanbase is so low is his fault, his lack of audacity and determination to get the difficult fights is disappointing. He could have called out Stieglitz, or make a move to 175 but instead he almost fought Pavlik and called out JCCjr.

His skill level is far, FAR beyond those two fighters that its a complete mismatch. I just want to see him go for something out of his comfort zone, he did always want to be number one p4p didnt he?

You can't see it now because he hasn't fought yet. The same thing happened to Martinez albeit Ward not being as old as Martinez it has to affect him somehow.

An injury doesn't have to affect someone permanently you can recover fully and get back to you're best. Ward has recovered ahead of schedule apparently, he got through rehab and is now training fully again and there have been no setbacks. Ward himself states that his shoulder feels "brand new."

I don't see how you can say he's not going to be the same just because Martinez wasn't, sure there's a chance it will affect his performance but all indications are good so far. Time will tell I guess we won't know fully until we see him in action.

He could fight Golovkin, in a non-title bout. Who wouldn't pay to see that?

Ward says it's a fight for "down the road" because Golovkin hasn't got any wins at a high enough level yet.

He's got an interview on the Rings website right now, saying he's overweight after surgery and is looking at a possible fight with Chavez Jr. He also say he doesn't have to chase anybody, so I think it's safe to say he won't take a fight with the Kessler/Froch winner anywhere except America

Cheers for this just had read of it there some interesting things definitely.

Chavez Jr fight not happening in September so still no news on his next opponent but it seems there is a definite plan in place for September, December and then early next year maybe March/April.

He does say he wants to fight in the UK so I think that if Froch wins vs Kessler then a rematch in the UK could happen in 2014.

    September - ?
    December - Chavez Jr
    March/April - Froch/Kessler

That's how I see it I'm still trying to work out Septembers opponent, Stieglitz is the only decent viable option I can think of.
