So once you say you would like to do something, you have an obligation to do it? I guess Pacquiao still owes Sergio Martinez a fight. And he still has to go back down to 140 as well. Kovalev should be competing at Cruiserweight because he once talked about it.
That’s how the saying goes. “Don’t talk about it, be about it.” I never said anything about an obligation. My point is stated clearly. I’m not fond of fighters talking about fighting this guy or that guy with no intentions of ever doing it. I think it makes them look silly when they do that. Manny and Kovalev included.
How do you know that they had no intentions of doing any of it? Things don´t always play out the way one wants. Most of the time, really.
Yeah Canelo was supposed to duck Trout, Lara , GGG ,Jacobs, Kova, Smith and Saunders, so yea I believe you...
I wouldn't fancy Wards chances against Bivol and Beterbiev. If Ward came back it would be for the money fight against Canelo or as speculated previously to fight at HW.
I don’t. It’s an assumption. But I still don’t agree with big talk like “I want to fight at heavyweight and I can beat a Klitschko.” It just immediately sounds ridiculous. And looking to where we are now, it was ridiculous. Seems like my comment initial comment doesn’t sit well with you. Sorry to bother you.
Andre Co-ward retired PRECISELY because the opposition was getting too tough. He ain't coming back, lol
He assaulted Kov in the rematch, thought he lost the 1st fight. Left the sport at a great time, Beterbiev and Bivol are real massive tests. 168 would have still been decent for Ward though, would reign supreme before a massive fight with Canelo.
I could only see him coming back for maybe a tuneup and that giant Canelo payday. Why would he at his age (37ish?) with (wear and tear) want to start fighting high risk low reward opposition?
still buterelo will get decision win regardless what will happen in the ring. To win buterelo he needs to be finished in distance and even then win is not warranted, might happen DQ loss etc beauties.
