Wow.... so You mention Joe Calzaghe in your post and you calling someone else Overrated ??

 

Yes, put a mediocre fighter in the ring with a hard puncher like Benn... and the risks are high.

It was really irresponsible of his promoters to manufacture him like that. Lacy was more lucky in the sense that Calzaghe doesn't really have punching power. Otherwise he could have been at serious health risk too.

That's not even true. He was solid while he was training with Willie Brown and Manny, but he would fall out with both of them. It was then that he became a limited puncher caring more about getting kos than boxing skills.
