The only thing I don't like about Ward is that he is reluctant to fight outside of Oakland. Other than that, I'm a fan.

Ward aint no real god fearing man because if he were he wouldn't have head butted Kessler to death and instead utilized his boxing ability.

And three home oakland fights? lawl!!!

    The hometown fighter stuff sucks.

He is setting up a career that looks to be worse than Ottke's....

    Sucks...

I think people are underestimating Green. His only loss was when he was extremely sick. Ward's resume (except Kessler) is similar to Green's. I'm not saying I would pixk Green, but it's not as one sided as some think.

I can't see Green flat footed stright forward guy having much chance against Andre Ward who is a smart fighter and going to be just way to fast for Green I just can't see it, and I have never thought that Green was that good.
You Have to remember Green was kD twice in the miranda fight and that was 3 year's ago and he is 30 now his chin
    has'nt gotten better.

Green is no one to take lightly. Yes he lost to Miranda and Ward dominated him but that doesn't equate to Ward beating Green. Green still has a chance no matter how slim that chance is.

Ward's resume' is thinner than my hair, but I stll don't think Green will present many difficulties.

I dont know, Ward beats one quality oppoent and suddenly hes the next Ali.
I think Green has a good chance of sparking Ward out especially with the left hook....

Who in the world is calling him the next Ali. He is, though, a talented boxer who won a gold medal in the olympics, has a better resume and has far greater success against common opponent. And he's facing a guy that lost nearly every round to Edison Miranda, who's not exactly known as a superb technician.
It shouldn't surprise anyone that far more people are picking Ward.

I'm not basing my opinion of him on his one loss, but on how shitty he's looked in his wins (bar a few blowouts, like Codrington and DeLeon - which don't really tell much about someone).

Yeah okay 9 times then, but lets see anybody get headbutted 9 times and go out as a winner. Not saying Kessler would have won, but it wouldnt have been that onesided.

Well I usually dislike a guy who pretends to be nice and then fights dirty to win a fight. And the name S.O.G bothers the **** outta me.
