at his age, its mighty impressive what Hopkins is achieving
do you think Hopkins was overrated in his prime?
or do you mean just now?

 

Bhop is not and was never quicker than andre ward nor was ever more aggressive. A younger b hop would've never knocked out kessler,froch,dawson,bika or abraham, bhop only legit knockout was vs johnson the other where against welterweights & chinny unknown middle weights.

 

I mean now.

He was a great boxer about 5 years ago, but he's an old man now.

Bhop can & will get aggressive at time but he was never really a aggressive fighter he is usually on his back foot looking to control distance and pace. Ward has out mauled,out fought,out roughed,out toughed the meanest nastiest fighters in the world,go watch the bika,froch,maranda & green fights. And if bhop is so quick why does he have so much trouble with quick fighters unless you talking mind frames. Ward has enough speed & quickness to go blow for blow with fastest of the fast quickest of the quick.:yep

 

It would be the dirtiest fight ever. They would both ram their heads together, using their arms only to plant elbows or throw low blows or grapple.

The winner would be the one that bleeds less after 4 rounds. The punches thrown would be at single digit numbers in every single round.

Would be a terrible fight....... Are we talking prime for prime, or today? Ward wins today, but prime Hopkins would definitely win.
