    Andre Ward hands down. Ruiz was probably one of the easiest HW to beat if you were moving up at his prime and he always seem to have a championship belt for some unexplained reason.

    Ward UD. Ruiz was a joke. There's a plethora of talented SMW-LHW past and present who could move up and beat that fraud.

    Which means absolutely nothing because Kovalev would brutalize and probably KO Ruiz. Ruiz lost to two bloated middleweights. He was a joke and a disgrace of a titlist. I see absolutely zero reason why an elite talent like Ward couldn't move up and beat a manufactured fraud like Ruiz.
