Of course not I remember those times. People saying how Bute was just going to outbox and run over Froch I mean have these people just started following boxing? Froch was brought up the hard way never given anything he was too much of an old school warrior with an iron will with underrated boxing ability for Bute to handle. I knew Froch would give Bute that work.

All of this and yet you're a GGG fan, go figure. For your information you could do this to every fighter in history, you're not doing anything I haven't seen many people before you do.

Saying Berto would be Brook's best opponent shows your limited boxing knowledge. You do know 'amount of appearances on HBO ro Showtime' doesn't mean how good you are, right?

And he's not with Arum and he's not with Haymon, so which of their mega stars do you think would be allowed to fight him. Remember you haters you say 'he's only fought Porter' - Porter was FORCED to fight him- not the other way round. And you can hate on his mando's but also bare in mind Leonard Bundu, Tim Bradley, Amir Khan, Shawn Porter, Devon Alexander and Sadam Ali all turned down final eliminators to fight lesser opposition. :hi:

Pim C, you didn't answer my question bud, do you realise that Ward was fighting Bute leftovers in super6 when you say he was fighting "the best of the division"?

That was the single worst and most obviously crooked sham in all of sports. Bute knew full well he got ktfo and unquestionably lost by tko.
Bute was never going to live that down, but he gave the rematch and revenge it with a legit body shot tko.

That's when I knew for certain bute couldn't ever compete with the elite at the pro level, 3 min rounds is way too much for bute, his stamina was on the level of a Taylor.

Their true average stamina would always fail them against the elite fighters.. how Taylor was ever able to get 2 w's over hops really lowers hops in my mind. I think those losses haunt hops and the main reason he kept fighting trying to prove those were flukes, not that he got beat by a better fighter.

Bute is built for the amateurs, with 12 to 16 oz , 2 mins rounds and 3 to 4 rounders. Him and Bradley were totally beasts being protected like that, even headgear to keep any swelling out.

Neither can beat or really compete with the truly elite pros

I'm a realist. Far less of a GGG fan then you would think.

Again Ward has a few good wins with plenty to be desired.

The difference between the 2 is that GGG is getting road blocked while Ward has been the road block!

Ward should have kept his word. He said that the Super Six winner should fight Bute the last pieces of what was the unified titles. This is why Ward cant say he cleaned out 168.

Don't forget the Dirrell situation. Ward didn't want to face him because they are like brothers while Dirrell felt otherwise.

Ward didn't do much before or after the Super Six. His P4P status is based on some garbage tournament. Super Six was a farce. It was the only tournament where you could lose a fight and still be in the tournament, lol.

I actually think 2016 Bute gives Ward a better fight than the 2011 version. He seems more comfortable with a few more pounds on him. Yes he was beat down vs Froch but that's no dishonor.

Ward wins easily in 2012; Ward wins a competitive fight in 2016.

Abraham made it to semifinals with 1 win, Froch had to travel to all of his fights but one and Ward fought Bute leftovers and Green to make it to semifinals. That tournament was a travesty

Dirrell should have been sued for breach of contract when he pulled out of the Super Six. There was nothing wrong with his brain until they wanted to make the Ward fight. Both Ward and Dirrel wanted more money to fight each other than what was in the contracts. When they didn't get it Dirrell went to see Dr. Shaw High and got a brain scan.

It was a complete joke. Taylor and Abe were both middleweights. Alan Green was a pure bum. But that was the best at 168.

Abe whos first fight at 168 was the Super Six. Then he loses 2 fights and still gets to the semi final.
