You see Robert, once again you are wrong and in need of some more schooling. Ward just defended against Green you fool, who is a nobody . Robert if you continue to post at least try and stick to the subject of the thread. Its about Ward and Karmazin, not Calzaghe, who im sure you must be a big fan of, because you keep mentioning him. Anyway muppet, once again the thread is Ward and Karmazin. How many more times will I have to help you out
Why would I be a troll when showing a fictitional match up between a new SMW champ whos just defended against Green of all people against a former LMW champ whos just drawn with a current MW champ and looking unlucky by some not to win. Whats odd about that? Nobody moaned about Hopkins who debuted at LHW fighting Oscar who debuted at SFW fighting at MW after Oscar looked lucky against Sturm, did they now, and Karmazin is nearer Wards size than Oscar was Hopkins. So in California Ward butts and holds to a close victory
:dead...That means nothing to me! So just because he had a draw with a belt holder at MW equates to him being able to hang with Ward??? Man, you have some of the most twisted logic!:verysad This **** is pathetic! Hell, he got his ears boxed off by Spinks and you expect people to see that Roman has a chance??? PLEASE!atsch
Its quite pathetic to be totally honest with you...He's trying his best to convince people that Roman has a chance.atsch
We still dont know how good Ward is, you cant base a career on one good headbutt win. Ward dosent fight like Spinks, and we dont know yet if Ward can adopt to all styles, so a fighter that has been a world LMW champ and pushed a current MW champ isnt a bad test for a new champ. As said nobody had a problem with Oscar vs Hopkins Read up judgejab, im not trying to make anyone change their minds, just put the point forward how nobody complains when its a known fighter, stepping up I said I think Ward wins a close decision in California
There is nothing close about...Ward would dominate him in any venue period!:verysad Please stop comparing Roman to Oscar because he doesnt have the skillset to hang with Ward! PERIOD!
Oscar chose not to fight Roman and relinquished his belt. Remember your basing youyr analysis of Ward on one good win :huh. We dont know yet how well Ward can adapt, he may do it well, but its still not known, when he got put down and hurt by a journeyman earlier in his career, he didnt seem great in the next round either and was lucky that wasnt at a higher level, sure he may well have improved, but until we see him face some different styles we wont know Roman has fought many styles and it could be argued in 43 fights he only has one genuine loss, but im not getting into that side of it, just that he would give Ward something new to think about
atsch I stopped reading after you said this crap...Ward has shown on several different occasions he can adapt, so what the hell are you talking about?? You're the one who sounds like you've just started watching Ward fight...Its several fights you can go back and look at to see Ward make proper adjustments...Roman on the other hand doesnt have what it takes to offset Ward's skills...Roman is going to look lost when Ward fight on the inside and from the outside. This fight is a major blow out and you're constanly repeating the same old stuff wont change that either!
And your not repeating I suppose? Roman has adapted also and can fight in different ways, and I said sure Ward may well have improved but you failed to notice that, and what makes you think Roman would let Ward fight him all the way on the inside?
Actually, most people did **** on DLH-Hopkins. Weight classes exist for a reason. Now, we all understand that boxers don't always remain in the same class for their whole career, and in some cases compete in several before it's all said and done - but at any given time a particular fighter has a specific "weight range" dependent on their age. Usually it's 2-3 weightclasses. Karmazin, for instance, could perhaps still make 154 - or he could fight at 160. So his range is two divisions. 147 is probably too much weight to expect him to cut at this age - and 168 is just way too big for him. He's not a big middleweight. Ward's range right now is probably 168-175. Him making 160 when his body fat appears to be fairly low seems unlikely - and Cruiserweight, for instance, is probably just too big for him - a step too far, the same way 168 is too big for Roman. You're proposing a fight between someone whose current range is 154-160 and someone whose current range is 168-175. Regardless of how skilled Karmazin is (or was, now that he's on his way to shot), or how low your opinion of Ward - you simply can't match up guys whose range have no overlap.
:roflI'm done with you dude...You're seriously delsusional to think he will fight a close fight with Ward...He was KO'ed by Buema:rofl:rofl Outboxed by Spinks and you think Ward wont have success against him??? Give me a break...I know styles makes fights but Roman is in a world of trouble if he gets in the ring with Ward...Then you gotta factor in age as well...He's getting old and loosing his legs...There is no way in hell he keeps up with Ward...Not even in his prime days!
The loss to Spinks was only a MD with the other 2 judges scoring 113-115 so it was a very close fight which could be argued. Yes he had a KO loss to Buema which is a bad result but Ward has been floored and hurt before and that wasnt at title level :rofl:rofl. Like I said, I favour Ward but think Karmazin is a bigger challenge than Green
