You may have heard other stories but they are just stories Robert!

What can not be agrued with is the landslide victory Lee enjoyed over Barker when they were fighting for their countries.

To be fair you did say "Probably why he aligns himself with the scummy right wing Neo-Nazi fans that follow his fights" maybe you should backtrack a bit.

Slap there was no need for this thread to turn into an arguement about ducking where your throwing out outlandish insults to Barker and his fans and shouting duck. The thread was set up to deliberatly antagonise people and start a row instead of a genuine debate about a thread. ****ing pointless especially when your the first one to get frustrated when it happens elsewhere.

Nobody has ducked anyone. Its ludicrous to make such a claim.

Its a good fight between two top 20 Middleweights. The fight would sell well in London and Ireland and Sky could build it up to be a big fight.

Why not mention that in your opening instead of spouting ****.

Will I bollocks! If you are shifting the majority of your tickets to these scumbags then you are aligning yourself with them - like it or not.

I wouldnt want to be associate in any way with them to be honest.

Really not looking for an argument but you are in the wrong on this.
As far as the fight goes it is pretty much 50/50 for me I think they both beat Macklin but that they will both fall short at the top level.

He had to fight Macklin because he was the mandatory. It was either that or vacate, and at the end of the day he never fought him.

He'd fight Oral instead of Lee because it's an easier fight just like he fought Belgecham when Lee was crying out to fight him, despite the fact that Lee had just dominated Belgecham. It was a joke having Belgecham and if Barker really did want to fight Lee, the fight would have happened then.

And how is that Barker's fault? Do you dislike Willie Casey because you know as well as I do he has some scummy fans?

Please show me where Lee was calling for the Barker fight before Barker vs Belgecham? That fight was made at 3 weeks notice. Wouild Lee have come to london to fight Barker, for short money? Its a big fight that needs to be built up and both Lee and Barker would need a long training camp.

I am not saying Lee deosn't genuinley want the fight, he probably does but its stupid to say Barker would not happily fight him.

He called him out after he beat Thiam and has said in interviews that he would like to fight Barker but he didn't believe he was interested (think it was on On The Ropes radio). I also believe he personally told Slap that he would fight Barker and was pissed off at the fact that the guy he just beat got the nod ahead of him. Hopefully Slap he can come here to clear it up.

Aren't you buddies with Barker yourself, why don't you ask him?

Bit harsh, I was chatting to loads of lads from Southhill at the fight in limerick and they were all bang on. Didn't see anything out of order that night.

apart from in Limerick (where Lee is a BIT of a draw) i dont think many people outside this forum care about this fight until one gets a big win and they appear on the same bill with a bit of agro or until one wins a alphabet strap. i also dont think it would be a good fight to watch either
