Rob mentioned earlier that this could be a final eliminator for the WBA title. I really hope it is, and that the winner finishes off Sturm's reign for good.

 

I don't think Lee suffers from a lack of stamina. I find it more to be a lack of focus and taking the fight for granted after about 5/6 rounds.

 

He does have a leaky defense when he is put under pressure though, the most time you need an organised defense. Of course I dont expect a tall ******* like himself to have pea whitaker like reflexes, but he doesnt use his height to his best advantage, as a fighter of his dimensions should. Footwork is dairly mediocre also imo.

 

Yeah that's true mate, i do remember something bothering Macklin about the fight. Looks like what you said, Sturm's clinging onto that title by skin of his teeth.

Yeah to fight at MSG, Earn good money for it and be shown on HBO is more enticing i agree.

 

Murray makes his HBO debut.

THe same thing was said about McEwan, that he didn't have the power to trouble Lee. McEwan hurt Lee plenty of times in their fight.

 

Oh Martin, you are gonna get lit up by sharp boxing. You better hope Lee is a touch gun shy and wants to protect the mantle piece. If Lee finds his distance and timing he will spear Murray and then unleash hellacious bombs on an opponent who simply doesn't display enough desire or firepower.
