    i believe it is cultural. some cultures, or subcultures, put an emphasis on showing heart, a macho attitude that translates to warrior mentality in the ring. i think in mexican culture, not showing heart means youre not game. and in japanese culture, which is having a golden age, its viewed as dishonorable, to not fight with heart. this is just my inexpert opinion.

    haha hes a right ' know it all' when it comes to heavyweights, but I dont think he knows much!
    He was always saying joshua was gonna be the number 1 for many years and only sirenko and conto in a few years will be his only threats lol

    Lennox Lewis and Joshua were born in England. Ruiz was born in USA he is Mexican American, by your logic America would not take credit for Rocky Marciano.
