Something that I remember in the Johnny Lewis Book Ferriera V Gatalerri ( Spelling) was on free to air TV when Gatalerri claimed he had a sore hand and the fight was stopped. There was no free to air TV for 6 years then Fenech's first world title and Lester Elllis's fight were on channel 9 and 7 respectively and then a few more were shown. This obviously stopped with the fights going to PayTV Then one HD brought it back to live TV then the Billy Dib fight had a bad taste in most peoples mouth and just recently the Green briggs fight. Boxing just keeps shooting its self in the foot
bobby what year was that compared to the others i got no idea just wondering i will go and boxrec it i guess
I dunno how you can say that Sally, unless you're just being downright contrary. Most of those blokes world wide have a failing when it comes to one-eyed commentary. The worst session of ringside commentary from the US in living memory came out of the Chavez Jnr V Duddy fight. It was an across the board slaughter on Duddy. Every between rounds replay they showed was a Chavez hit. Every scoring punch he threw got acclaim, but not for Duddy. They just made it sound like it was a Chavez spar. I'd rather listen to Andy than any of them. A lot depends on who he has to work off/with. It's when he has to do it all that it can get boring to some, but writing him off is just nonsense IMO.
Pro bouts from the last show...the last fight was for three "belts"...lol [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0p6G0eEUup0[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-uWGcnd6Tg[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53LOh9nf5MI[/ame]
