I honestly don't see Angulo as some future World champ. Maybe a belt holder. But he's a good fighter to watch and will always be a good B side opponent. Hopefully GBP didn't sign him just to keep him away from Alvarez.

That's one of the first things to cross my mind as well, GBP could use this to their advantage to prevent an Alvarez-Angulo fight anytime soon. Not sure if they will but it did cross my mind.

Not sure how this will effect Angulo's career, if he can't fight in the States he's limited to Mexico for the most part and I'm not sure how many big fights can be made there outside of the obvious Alvarez one. I just want to see Angulo back in the ring, he's an entertaining fighter.

Jeez...forgot about his VISA issues. :patsch Hope he gets that **** taken care of, Maybe the GBP deep pockets can help.

But yeah, that was the first thing that popped into my head. Possibly buying an opponent to stay out of the way. Angulo is definately is entertaining. Lets hope GBP puts him to work now.

Considering Anuglo's career has stalled I guess GBP can't really do any less with him. I'd agree that GBP probably has the deeper pockets to, maybe, clear up his situation and get him back in the ring. I don't think Angulo's any kind of future pfp guy but I do enjoy him in the ring.
