There's no way to know how devastating some of these punches are unless you're getting hit with him. I'm not about to say one way or another what really happened. However, fixing relatively big fights is not a good idea. There's a lot of eyes on you.
You can create a conspiracy out of anything if you want. There are people who believe we never landed on the moon and that dinosaurs never existed.
Foreman had been landing right hands on Moorer all night plus Moorer's chin issues are notorious. What we just saw with Wilder and Scott is night and day from Foreman Moorer...
The punch landed, but I wouldn't expect that to put a ranked heavyweight down, let alone put him out for a 10 count. It's fair to say their is strong suspicion Scott has taken a dive.
Scott has chin issues. And Wilder has knocked out every guy he's fought. I've seen guys knocked out plenty of times with shots that don't look devastating. Scott May have very well taken a dive. However, a big guy like Wilder with a big punch can put guys out with shots that don't look devastating.
My TV showed a left hook to the temple. Legit knock out by the most powerful puncher on earth. :hammertime
It was a relatively big fight. And people cry fix on just about every fight. I bet a lot on sports. The fights that are most prone to being fixed are the ones with little exposure. People bet a lot of money on these events. Fixing a fight that is being televised on Showtime is a risky proposition.
Your tv is sh*tty then. That hook landed with his palm...wayyyy less power than a properly thrown hook.
