another nick diaz no show

Diaz is a simple guy, he just wants to fight. He doesn't mesh well with a business requiring flexibility ie, extensive promotion.But like it or not he had a good excuse

 

If im gonna be the devils advocate Diaz might have gotten the OK to stay at home maybe not from Dana himself but from his assistant or someone like that or the other possibility is that he got the OK from Dana then he turns and says he didnt give the OK to Diaz

 

Dana will take any opportunity to whinge about Nick Diaz. It is probably all justified but the man is making a tonne of cash off of his back, imagine being Tysons promotor back in the day. :rofl

On the Rogan show, Dana was complaining that they sent a film crew to Diaz and they wouldn't come out and film some promo for a show.

 

Don't say that here, DW is a fight promoter, he needs to, maybe, do those kind of thing to promote the fight !

Exactly. He wants to be a professional prize fighter? He wants to fight the best opponents, compete for major titles and cash huge paychecks? There are things that go along with that.

What job do any of us have, that we can pick and choose which aspects of it we feel like doing?

In all seriousness, can we expect an introverted pothead on a cut to do something he doesn't feel up to? No, but Dana, like any good boss, is letting his employee know what's up. At first I felt this was bad for Nick Diaz and bull**** he doesn't need, but he's the cause by having fans and the media wait, and wait and wait. If your gonna no show, call in, but don't have your trainer call in 45 minutes after you are supposed to arrive. I like Nick Diaz, but he won't ever reach his potential unless he stops smoking pot.

 

There comes a point when you are abusing the plant and no longer medicating, ask me how I know....

He smokes it all the time, and it's been that way for years. It would take months of going without to see a change in him.

this is just nick looking for a way out. i said it not less than a week ago, hes going to do everything he can to derail this fight. just so he can continue whining about how nobody gives him any opportunity. heres the news nick, with opportunity comes responsibility dip****.

on a side note i get the impression dana is just itching for nick to lose this fight just so he can be rid of him for once and for all.
