that's because being muscle bound, cut meat heads is also not good for boxing. what happened to the days when heavyweight came in the ring in athletic shape. not too big, but with abundance of speed and skill. now they're big, slow, and ****ing boring.

And he would have even better stamina if he worked hard enough to lose another 20/30 pounds.

Don't forget that 'smoking' Joe was one of the most ferocious punchers in his era and not much HW's in his time where above 220 lbs.
Not really a comparison with this case I think

There are plenty of guys out there who look like the perfect specimens, Greek gods, but would never make a boxer and would be knocked out within seconds by the likes of fat Arreola.

Maybe they should put some fat on? is that how the equation works?

well obviously yes. but if arreola got into shape he would be a much better competitor than he is now. forget the muscle and looking like a greek god, the least american heavyweights could do is lose fat. fat makes you unfit. if your bodymass to fat ratio is higher than 30% which it looks like he is then this will have a detrimental impact on your sporting performance.

Eddie is in great shape, i have seen him training with Chazz in Philly personally, he is a well conditioned guy with the genes that are not the same as Wladimir.. but he at 209 is a prepaired man for this bout... Boxing isn't a cosmetic game, its all about skills, and heart... I save my judgements for tommorrow evening.. I did think the same of Ed years ago when i saw him box Derrick Rossy.. But after the outcome i was converted..

My analogy of the fight can be read at www.braggingrightscorner.com..

The article is called Opportunity knocks for Eddie Chambers... God bless..

Chambers is in good shape...by his standards. Not everyone has the same body type.
