Another training log cliche

    Judo: Worked a lot more technique, got a few throws I'm a lot more comfortable with now. Randori at the end, hit the deck with a brown belt. His ground is very decent, I swept him, but as I was trying to complete it he pulled guard and locked up a choke. I managed to pass his legs, but as I was looking for the arm I had to tap, as I tapped I went out and started snoring. Lesson for tonight: tap louder.

    Friday - 7/10/11
    Work: Work was dead so I ended up training on and off throughout the day. Skipping, shadowboxing, bag work.
    Boxing: Shadowboxing, padwork, jab/parry drills. Afterwards had a light wrestle with a couple of the guys, feeling it today though, not a great idea wrestling on carpet.

    Tuesday - 11/10/11
    Judo: Good session, lots of drills. Finished with a bit of randori, which I still find insanely tiring. I'm fine on the ground, I could wrestle forever, but standing up feels so draining.

    Wednesday - 12/10/11
    Run: 30min, don't know how far, a lot of it was through a construction site, over loose sand and limestone roadbase. Good fun, I'm gonna go back through there on the weekend with some more appropriate footwear and check it out properly.

    Judo: Awesome session. Had a nogi roll for the first time in forever. I'm actually feeling a bit more of a flow in practicing my techinques. Still getting ragdolled, though.

    Boxing: Bit of bagwork and smash the pads. Felt good.

    Weekend off

    Monday - 17/10/11
    Had some yard work to do, so I basically turned it into a workout. Had to move about 50 pavers from the garage to the other side of the yard, put the weight vest on, and every time I was in the garage I'd do a set of push ups or a set of chin ups (only got about 3 out in a set, and I was quickly reduced to doing negatives). Didn't count how many trips I made, but I was pretty done by the end of it.

    Missed out on Judo this week, a buddy of mine has asked me to run his MMA classes while he's away for a week. Just so happens they're run at the same time as my Judo training.
    Worked on what I could while at work, just a few rounds of shadow boxing and some grip training.

    Wednesday - 19/10/11
    Had the day at home with **** all to do, so I spent the day doing sets of burpees and divebombers. Probably did 80-100 of each throughout the day. Gonna be feeling it tomorrow I think.

    Much like yesterday I was at work with **** all to do, so I was doing sets of chin ups off an empty bag stand, 5 a time. And then doing a one arm press with a kettlebell, 6x20kg, and then grabbing the only barbell we have (~25kg) and doing 20 shoulder presses as fast as I could. Don't know how many sets I did throughout the day, but I'll judge by how sore I am tomorrow.

    Missed out on training today, had a farewell dinner for a friend

    Weekend off

    Monday - 24/10/11
    Worked through a set of 5 chin ups and 10 divebombers all day.

    Been sick since Monday. Almost went Judoing on Tuesday but forced myself not to at the last minute. Should be back to normal by Friday, fingers crossed.

    BJJ. Technique drills and wrestling.
    Still slightly head-coldy, but healthy enough to start training again.

    Judo: Rough session, I'm not nearly as recovered from that illness as I thought I was. Got my eye busted up with some pretty nice gi-burn, almost bit my tongue in half and my heart was ready to leap out of my chest several times. In pain today.
