Latin American ESPN card had it 95-94 for Colbert. Exactly the same as the 3 judges.

No ****ing way he won. He got hurt left and right. He didn't do any damage. Many rounds he was "winning" got taken away when he got hurt.

Cards are cards, but some of you guys are giving him the tenth? I don't think that's right.

I thought Valenzuela won, but he was too tentative in the last few rounds. That's what happens when you get too comfortable and not press the action.

Both guys seem to want to rematch.

Why are there people calling this a robbery? I had Colbert winning by a point but I have no problem with a Valenzuela decision. It was a close fight. Valenzuela won his rounds big, but winning rounds big ultimately doesn’t win fights if you lost enough rounds to justify being outpointed on the cards.

This. He could have made it a clear win but he let the bee back in the fight.

I get Valenzuela’s frustration. He has a right to be pissed. However, Colbert said the right thing, “let’s run it back.” I think Valenzuela won. But I admire Colberts willingness to want to do it again immediately. That was a good look for him.

Agreed. I didn’t keep track of my scorecard, but it felt close. At the end I thought Rayo edged it but there were rounds where he did nothing. Have to go back though cause it’s possible Rayo had 5 clear rounds.
