I don't follow anyone one social media - but I've seen a few of his tweets on here and I can't really fault him for them. My assessment of him is no doubt a conjecture. The main type I can't warm to and have the least respect for are puppets for corporations. Are there any notable posts on social media that have rubbed up people the wrong way? Twitter, in my opinion, is just a cesspit for the status quo virtue-signalling hypocrites, so anything deviating from the trending norm will be met with backlash. However, I concede that may not be relevant in this case. He could be a prat.
I'm not a fan of triangle theories in boxing but **** it Eggington gave Cheeseman a tough fight over 12 and in turn Cheeseman arguably beat Fitzgerald who in turn put Fowler on his arse and beat him. Liam Smith in comparison absolutely battered Eggington without even breaking a sweat, I mean.... he didn't even get out of 2nd gear. He done as he pleased and took him out when he pleased. So whilst I do think the domestic scene at LMW is a very good one........ Liam Smith is a level or two above.
I would be buzzing off this fight but no doubt at all about the outcome. Fowler brings energy, enthusiasm and grit but is one dimensional. Smith is also arguably one dimensional but does all the fundamentals better than Fowler and has operated at world level. When it comes to who can dig deeper in a battle of attrition, Smith wins every time.

It's an awful lot of virtue signalling, making charitable acts very public and brown nosing. All of those things indicate a lack of self awareness to me. I don't know him personally of course so could be wrong, just doesn't come off very well based on what I've seen.
Once saw Fowler saying retweet this tweet and give me the best reason and I'll give out a free bottle of CBD... a bloke replied saying it would help with the pain of his cancer and Fowler replied 'sorry mate you need to retweet it too'
Liam Smith is one hell of a fighter. I really like Anthony Fowler but this is going to be a step too far him. You can’t jump this far up without a fight in between. Liam Smith is on another level and wins a decision or possibly gets a late stoppage.
He’s always been in the “who needs him” camp. A tough, gritty fighter with skills too but not the biggest name/ticket seller/most popular person. Frank got him the vacant WBO then fed him to Canelo for a nice payday. But was absolutely devastated when he beat his great hope Williams - one of the worst post fight interviews I’ve seen from a promoter representing a fighter. Frank then tried to feed him to Williams again not realising that regardless of the clash of heads in the first fight, Smith was starting to accelerate and showing his class. The second fight was a complete shut out. Eventually he’s moved to Eddie, he got a big homecoming in a sold out arena and a fantastic performance against Eggington but from there Eddie has failed to deliver for him. I’d say both promoters have let him down to an extent.
