I like AJ and Deontay, but as a pro Deontay has accomplished more and whether people want to admit it or not Deontay has fought the stiffer competition thus far, and his chin has held up and IS a champion. Stiverne nailed him with some very big shots and he didn't go down. Deontay should at this point be the prohibitive favorite between the two, he fought a very disciplined match against Stiverne and didn't screw up and go crazy trying to windmill him. Wilder has the goods, but his chin is shatterable and AJ seems to have the goods but may have an equally shaky chin.
Joshua wasnt even down against magomedrasul medzhidov, he went toe to toe with him & took his shots in the worlds final and lost a close decision, Medzhidov at that time was the biggest punching SHW amateur.
