Yes his defence is awful. He has the most basic defence, hands up, no head movement, there are teenage amateurs in the gyms right now with a better defence.

As for his body attack. Yes he works the body but his right hand uppercut slap to the body that he likes to throw is begging to be countered. When he throws that and especially when he throws with both hands to the body he is often bolt upright, chin in the air asking to be KO'ed. Arreola looks like Mike Tyson compared to Charr.

Arreola is levels above Charr who has NO speed and no defence at all.

which is flattering to decievem, since arreola has quite basic skills himself, although at least they exist. AT least also Chris can hit hard, even if he cant throw well.

charr was basically manufacturily picked to give vits an easy as **** defence at subnational level. I wouldn't be suprided if his record has been largely manufactured too, no way this utter amateur stays unbeaten even against bums.

and AJ will not waste his time fighting such a weakling.

Yep Arreola is very basic himself, it's just Charr is that bad.

I actually think he'd make a decent opponent for AJ. He's tough enough to go a few rounds, he doesn't hit hard enough to be a threat and is a known name. It would be a safe step up for AJ.

I think Charr has a place in boxing. Beat him, and you can advance to the top ten level. Joshua has not been past three rounds yet, and showed some weakness in the chin department as an amateur.

If the match happens, I'd pick Joshua on points.

Weakness in the chin dept? Because of Nistor RSC'ing him?

I am not a Charr fan .. but come on, what has Joshua to beat Charr?? Charr ha a great defense and can go even 15 rounds. He knocks Joshua out within a 5 or 6 rounds. Stop hyping that guy, you already failed with David Price and we still have a great laugh here on ESB. Sometimes I am not sure iof this hyping of British fighters is satire or reality. Haye an ATG, Joshua beats Top 20 boxers, Wlad ducking Price .. :rofl:rofl:patsch

The only thing you should be laughing about is your own stupid post. What has Joshua got to bear Charr? Seriously? Just log off already.

No danger would Hearn put Arreola in the ring with Joshua. Charr is a much safer option.

Absolutely a good step up for Joshua, but I can't see Charr seeing the second half of the fight. Joshua with a KO in 4 :deal

Nobody that picked Charr (10% of respondents now) has voiced an opinion to expand upon that. :think

I totally missed the Grant fight, heavyweight is my favorite division and that went past my radar

Charr fights all comers and I like his call outs and how he handled himself vs Vitali

That said this is a big step up from old and used and abused Skelton and Sprott who have been passed around along the british circuit

    still Joshua should win

nothing joshua could prove, or learn, then? charr is still a step up. sometimes guys fall on the steps. if fallen, some right themselves and traverse the staircase. others continue to fall.
