    Kessler will be back! I want Bute to fight him even if chances are he loses. Nothing wrong with losing to a Champ like Kessler!:good

    :lol::lol::lol:

    Mundine has the faster hands in the division bar none. Joe throws the faster combos but he doesnt have the speed Mundine does.

    Kessler easily won against a stoopid scaredy cat in Mundine in the first fight yet Choc still took 4 rds off him.

    For people who follow Mundine they will tell you its a vastly diff Mundine now than it was then (2 /3 yrs ago). If he ever gets off his easy beat diet then he would probably beat Bute.

    Mundine has speed of hands and feet over Bute, both have good shot variety. Bute is the bigger stronger man with good power in his shots. Mundine can really set down on his shots when he wants, he has good power.

    Mundine has really good defence, an area that has improved greatly over the years. Mundine hasnt fought a good southpaw (if any?) yet and that is the main focus pt for me.

    I would pick Mundine at this moment. He is an improved fighter from the **** poor fighter i saw beat up Echols.

    From Oakland hey? Wasn't so sure Aussie slang had taken off in the bay area as much as it obviously has.

    Not even close.

    But I still think Bute wins. Mundine has lost pretty much every time he's stepped up. I think Bute is enough quicker than Danny Green that he'll be able to catch Mundine. Also, he lacks experience against southpaws. Would be an exciting fight if it happens, but it will never happen because both sides' management is too protective for either one to become popular enough in the other's market to make the fight work.

    Mundine's market is pretty much Sydney. Thats it.

    I agree. Mundine had a real chance of beating Kessler if he'd gone after him more. He's a much better fighter now, or at least he was last year before his bicep and eye problems. Early in his career he wasn't a convincing finisher, but he changed my mind when he knocked down Soliman 3 times in a row (I know Soliman isn't top class but he's awkward and I've never seen anyone else put him down so convincingly).

    But Mundine (a) needs to fight some decent as soon as possible; and (b) needs to demonstrate he isn't shot from the operations last year.

    I don't think Interbox are afraid of Mundine at all. Look, the guy is supposed tu be better than 2 years ago. How do you know? It's easy to look good against such a bad opposition.

    Mundine by UD, possibly late T/KO depending on how Bute's chin can take the sharp, CLEAN (most importantly) and fast shots Mundine will land on him all night (especially taking in Bute's sometimes susetibility to punches).

    Mundine is more fluid, is on a whole FEW other levels defensively, and is more accurate with his punches (although his offense and arsenal and willingness to use it is his main detractor - possibly as a result of his early career KO - who knows)... And of course the speed factor can't be ignored. He IS the fastest fighter at 168, 100%.
