Well obviously he just worked him over. I wasn't trying to give an excuse for Anthony you prove your worth in the ring. Regardless of what's going on in camp and if you underestimate your opponent that's on you and deserved to be whooped.

 

Last night Dirrell "the dog" fought like a poodle.

Not nearly as bad as some make it out to be.

It was a razor thin decision that could easily have gone Dirrel's way had he not been such a Stooge at the weigh-in and made a few haters.

Ppl think the judges don't have partiality, but most of us know they do. And that why guys like Canelo wins 6 rds against Floyd on some idiots card, or Madaina wins 6 on someones card.

They lack objectivity and automatically hand the underdog rds in which he had landed the biggest punch, even though he may have been outlanded 18-8 in that same rd.

rd 2 for instance. Im pretty sure all 3 judges gave it to Badou, but he landed a single meaningful punch, while Dirrel landed lunging R hooks consistently until he wnet on the back foot.

That rd probably gave Badou the fight. Not cause he won it, but b/c he landed what looked to be a big punch. It was, and it was clean, but Badou aint a pucnher, and Tony aint got the Dre Glass Jaw. :-(

 

It was a tight fight but Badou did that bit extra to take it. Anthony didnt go for it the last round, he fought like he was ahead.
I would like to see a rematch with this one, it would be interesting to see what Dirrell could do differentely.

Dirrell just gave up once he realized Jack was not intimidated by his power. Jack just grinded the dog into sausage meat on live TV

Dirrell is a punk. Go to 1:24 of the 2nd round. Cheap shot as the ref is separating them. Then when the ref says something Dirrell acts remorseful. Total BS. He hit several times on the break, too, and Jack just took it like a pro. Even helped Dirrell up when he went down a couple times. Great win for Jack. Well deserved.

 

Murican slang is so stupid and constantly devolving to boot. In the mid 90's having "dog" in you meant you were a quitter now from what I gather it means the opposite.

Excuse me for not really paying attention or caring, Who knows, in another decade being a h.o.m.o may actually be a good thing.
