Just read your opening post. Seems like Matchroom are being sensible in the UK market like you said and not overpaying for fighters. Again like you said, Boxxer have overpayed for several fighters like Fraser Clarke, Ben Whittaker, Lawrence Okolie and Joshua Buatsi, but that was probably necessary for them to get a foothold in the UK market. I think a lot of these fighters have probably realised Matchroom are still the best by far in the UK market. Look how Clarke has been thrown under the bus by Ben Shalom for example. It has also been proven that Okole was in the wrong regarding his dispute with Hearn, which is why he was forced to publicly apologise in a statement released online. Boxxer have come across very amateurish and unprofessional in the past few months, especially Ben Shalom. Starting with Shalom asking an interviewer not to ask questions about certain topics, the leaked DMs with Billy Joe Saunders, and then the farcical contracts with Jack Catterall and Liam Smith Eubank II.
