Wade didn't just fail to stop Soliman, he failed to actually beat him and needed the judges to do that for him.

I won't be surprised if Douglas will have a lot of trouble with that too, but expect him to do better regardless.

Mundine is the only man to have KO'd Solibum.

Yep, probably one of the top 2 robberies of 2015, and people thought Pascal-Gonzalez was bad.

He seemed really tentative with a bummy fighter like Sherrington and Soro gave him fits, it wouldn't shock me in the least if Sam schooled him....and got robbed again.

It also wouldn't shock me if he KO'd Sam either.

Sam's an awkward fighter...he's not great, but he presents a tough, tricky matchup for someone still developing.

This is actually a pretty good matchup for Douglas for where he's at in his development.

Douglas looks pretty decent to me from what I've seen of him, which admittedly is very little (2 or 3 fights). He was up against poor opposition in all of them though. I've not seen his draw against Soro but I rate Soto so that's a good result for him to take a fighter of that calibre so close. Soliman is one of the most awkward fighters you could imagine but he's obviously past his best and his knees are shot to bits.

No need to get nasty I was just pointing out that he is the only man to KO Solibum.

What? I did this thread mainly because STB now Limerickbox requested it of me. I liked Douglas more than a lot of MW prospects, but I didn't think he was that good.

I just got done watching Douglas-Khurtsidze, what heart Antoine showed in that match, he was beaten from pillar to post and was out on his feet for the last 3 rounds, he went through a trail by fire tonight, and lost but he lost impressively. Well done Antoine.

I feel bad for making fun of his chin, while t may shatter against a harder puncher in the future, his powers of recovery and durability are impressive
