Again....where is the risk? Gatti was tailor made for Floyd as was corrales...although at the time, Chico was considered a very dangerous foe. But With floyd's style and his intelligence he knew the bout looked favorable to win and shine against Chico.

Antonio Margartio lost to an underappreciated Paul Williams, a wordclass operator who holds a lot of stylistic advantages over the majority of 147lb fighters. No disgrace in losing a closely contested battle to Williams. Antonio Margarito is a great fighter. :good
everytime you step into the ring your taking a risk. is it Floyds fault to automatically think he is better than the other fighter? shouldnt that always be the case in every fight for every fighter? and Floyd couldnt have "known" he was going to beat Chico... he trained damn hard and trained like a champion with the right mentality and it showed in the fight.. youll never see victories and intelligent offensive brilliance like the kinds you saw against Gatti and Corrales for a long while if ever..:good
Sub consciously, Floyd Mayweather is everything to do with this thread. The individual responsible for it is a self confessed Mayweather fan, and it makes him insecure that people are talking about other 147lb fighters instead of the retired fighter he loves. He feels the need to come to his hero's aid and detract a hard-working, talented, and honest fighter in Antonio Margarito. That's what it is all about really. It's a shame. He should just about to appreciate all fighters and not just Floyd.
So because he feels Antonio is overrated. It really means he's sad that Floyd is not being talked about? That's one of the dumbest things Ive ever heard.
