**Antonio Margarito is overrated thread**

Who gives a **** if they talk ****? Make your own ****ing thread about Mayweather if you want to **** someone off. You don't see me talking in a Wladimir Klitschko thread about how Margo sucks and lost to Williams do you?

So you shouldn't bring Mayweather into a thread about Margo, when the topic has nothing even remotely dealing with Mayweather.

 

If other posters didn't have an agenda as well, I'm sure thay would be saying the same thing I'm just about to say.

Mayweather has absolutely nothing to do with Margarito's success, and it is further indication that my speculation from earlier was correct. You are insecure that Floyd is now out of the picture so you have to discredit fighters in his same weight class. It's true isn't it?

As a side note, A fighter will utlize his best attributes in order to be successful in Boxing, and that is exactly what Margarito has done so far. I can name many fighters in history who didn't follow your philosophy who are now recnognised as all-time greats, and are higher in a P4P sense than your boy, Floyd.

 

Whats the difference of me talking **** on their threads and them talking **** on Margarito's threads? They brought up Mayweather when the thread was clearly about Margarito beating Cotto. An eye for an eye.

 

So basically you are sinking to their level but then complain about them doing it when you do it right back? Give me a break man.

 

I'm glad you admit that you feel the need to discredit Margarito because Floyd is no longer at 147 and Margarito is reaping the rewards because of it. I no longer need to give my input in the thread.

Margarito is a great fighter no doubt and the consensus #1 Welterweight. But in the post I quoted earlier, you said that Mayweather and Cotto were groomed from the start. Mayweather became the best 130 and 135 fighter why? Beacuse he earned it. Cotto became the man at 147 why? Because he earned it. Margarito was not thought of as relevant because he has lost 5 times. His losses are his fault and there are no excuses for that. Now, Margarito has earned his spot.

 

They started it so I finished it. When did I complain?

Why has Margarito became the #1 man at Welterweight, because ha has earned it, and deserves to be amongst the likes of Cotto and Williams.


I'm assuming you thought I was trying to discredit Floyd Mayweather Jr and Cotto when I said they were "groomed" for success. Perhaps I used the wrong word, but my only point was that they were expected from the beginning to mature into future P4P stars, whereas Margarito was expected to fall at the last hurdle and fade into obscurity. He defied the odds, and that is part of the reason I now hold him in such high regard. In my opinion, he isn't overrated, he is just getting the praise that eluded him for the majority of his career.

 

You were complaining about them doing it in other threads and thats why you did it back.

 

Figures some ******* w/ a Mayweather avatar would start this thread....
